A lot of my clients do something that I find very interesting. They call me about duplicating their CD, and they say we have a release date of next week for our CD. I wonder how can you set a release date for your project when you don’t have it in hand. That’s not how the big boys do it. Why set a release date for your product when you don’t have it produced yet. The better thing to do is have your product then set the release date. If you set the release date before you have your have your product you may not know what hang ups you might have, which might hinder you from releasing your CD on the date you set.

Get your product then arrange your whole marketing strategy around a release date. You can hit up twitter and facebook once you have the CDs in hand.
